Greater Adelaide is home to approximately 1.4 million people across a relatively compact metropolitan footprint — running from Gawler in the north, through the inner suburbs and Adelaide Hills, down to the southern Fleurieu Peninsula and across to the western and Port Adelaide districts. While Adelaide's geographic compactness is an advantage, the city's NDIS participant base is large and the supply of specialist in-person assessors has historically been limited.

Beyond Greater Adelaide, our service covers every regional South Australian community. We have completed Functional Capacity Assessments for participants in the Mid North (Clare, Burra, Port Pirie), the Riverland (Berri, Renmark, Loxton, Waikerie), the South East (Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Bordertown, Millicent), the Yorke Peninsula (Kadina, Wallaroo, Moonta, Maitland), the Eyre Peninsula (Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Ceduna, Streaky Bay) and the Far North communities (Coober Pedy, Roxby Downs, Marla, Oodnadatta).

Regional and remote SA participants have historically faced some of the longest wait times for specialist NDIS assessment in the country. The telehealth model is not a workaround — for many regional SA participants, it is the most realistic pathway to defensible NDIS evidence.

The NDIA's South Australian operations are coordinated through Adelaide, with regional planner presence across the major regional centres. Our FCA reports are written to satisfy the national reasonable and necessary criteria and are routinely accepted by SA planners across all regions.

For Adelaide participants undergoing plan reassessments, SIL or SDA applications, change-of-circumstances submissions, or escalation to internal review or AAT, our reports provide the structured evidence base required to satisfy the six reasonable and necessary criteria first time.

Adelaide is home to substantial migrant communities — particularly Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Indian, Filipino, Chinese, African and Middle Eastern. Our virtual FCA model accommodates interpreter participation by default. We routinely arrange accredited interpreter support for Adelaide participants who prefer to engage in a language other than English.

South Australia is also home to substantial Aboriginal communities, particularly across the APY Lands, the Far North, the Riverland and Port Augusta. Our assessment process can be conducted alongside Aboriginal Liaison Officers, community workers or family members, with culturally safe framing throughout.

Our SIL assessments include costed Rosters of Care for Adelaide SIL providers and emerging regional SA arrangements. Our SDA assessments support participants accessing the growing Adelaide SDA market across all four design categories. Psychosocial FCAs support SA's mental health cohort with recovery-oriented evidence. Autism FCAs support autistic SA participants with neurodiversity-affirming assessment. Neurological FCAs support SA participants with ABI, MS, Parkinson's, stroke and other neurological conditions.

Each service is delivered with the same 5 business day turnaround regardless of which South Australian community the participant lives in.

Many SA NDIS participants are connected to one of the state's Local Health Networks — Central Adelaide, Northern Adelaide, Southern Adelaide, Women's and Children's, the Country Health Network, or specialist services such as the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, the Women's and Children's Hospital, Modbury Hospital or the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre.

Our FCAs coordinate with these networks, integrating existing allied health reports, neuropsychological assessments, behaviour support plans and specialist medical letters into a single coherent functional narrative.
