The Australian Capital Territory is home to roughly 460,000 residents concentrated around Canberra — a comparatively small NDIS participant population served by a tightly clustered allied health workforce. ACT participants frequently report long wait lists for specialist FCA assessment, particularly for complex psychosocial, autism and acquired brain injury presentations.
