About Us

Built by clinicians. Designed for participants.

FCA Reports Australia is a modern, independent NDIS Functional Capacity Assessment provider founded on the belief that fast, evidence-based clinical reporting should be accessible to every participant, in every postcode.

InnovativeEthicalClinician-focusedEvidence-basedParticipant-centred

Our Mission

To ensure every NDIS participant has access to a fast, evidence-based, clinically rigorous Functional Capacity Assessment — regardless of postcode, complexity or funding level. Strong evidence supports better lives.

Participant-Centred Values

We work with — not just on — participants and families. Trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, recovery-oriented practice is the baseline, not the exception.

Commitment to High-Quality, Evidence-Based Reports

Every report is peer-reviewed before issue, mapped against the six reasonable and necessary criteria, and supported by validated assessment tools. We don't ship reports we wouldn't sign as our own.

Australia-Wide Telehealth

Our model is intentionally 100% virtual. It removes geographic barriers, dramatically reduces report turnaround, and lets clinicians observe participants in the environments where they actually live.

A Modern Approach to Allied Health

Modern systems, modern tools, modern clinical culture. We build the infrastructure that lets experienced clinicians focus on the clinical work — not the admin, not the commute, not the politics.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can I work remotely?+

Yes — every role at FCA Reports Australia is 100% remote. All assessments are delivered via secure video conferencing, supplemented by phone and structured collateral. You can work from anywhere in Australia with a reliable internet connection.

Do I need NDIS experience?+

NDIS experience is preferred but not strictly required. We welcome experienced allied health professionals from acute, sub-acute, rehab, community and private practice backgrounds. What matters most is strong clinical reasoning, defensible report writing and a genuine interest in functional assessment. Comprehensive onboarding is provided.

Are contractor roles available?+

Yes. Contractor arrangements are our most common engagement model. Contractor clinicians work on a per-report basis with full clinical autonomy, transparent premium rates and prompt payment terms. Casual and PAYG arrangements are also available for the right clinician.

Are both physiotherapists and occupational therapists accepted?+

Absolutely — both AHPRA-registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists are core to our team. Each profession brings distinct clinical strengths to functional assessment, and our caseload is allocated to match clinician interest, scope and confidence.

Is training provided?+

Yes. Every new clinician completes a structured onboarding programme covering our report templates, NDIS reasonable and necessary framework, validated assessment tools (WHODAS, CANS, LSP-16, K10, Lawton, Berg), and our peer-review process. Ongoing CPD opportunities are offered through the year.

What assessments are completed?+

Our clinicians complete a wide range of NDIS-aligned assessments — comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments, SIL assessments with costed Rosters of Care, SDA design-category assessments, ILO Stage 1 assessments, psychosocial FCAs, autism FCAs, and complex neurological and physical disability assessments.

What are the working hours?+

You set them. Clinicians typically work a mix of structured interview blocks (booked with participants and their support networks) and flexible report-writing time. Many of our clinicians work 3–4 day weeks; others run full-time caseloads. The model is genuinely flexible.

How are clinicians supported with complex cases?+

Every report is peer-reviewed before issue. We hold weekly clinical huddles where complex cases — psychosocial acuity, behaviour, MND trajectory, complex SIL — are discussed collaboratively. You are never working a complex case alone.
